L'histoire c\u2019est beau mais \u00e7a fait vite un petit chaos sans queue ni t\u00eate si on ne la range pas correctement. La typographie n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas \u00e0 cette r\u00e8gle comme elle n\u2019essaie pas d\u2019\u00e9chapper \u00e0 tant de r\u00e8gles faites pour \u00eatre bris\u00e9es. 
Pour \u00e9viter le d\u00e9sordre graphique les typographes ont ressenti le besoin d\u2019organiser les choses proprement et comme \u00e7a on s\u2019y retrouve sinon c\u2019est n\u2019importe quoi et la porte ouverte \u00e0 l\u2019anarchie. 
C\n\u2019est donc au cours du XXe si\u00e8cle que Max-\u00c9mile Box nous gratifia de la classification qui porte son nom et qui partait d\u2019un bon sentiment car l\u2019enfer typographique est pav\u00e9 de bonnes intentions pleines de signes et d\u2019espaces. Box, comme son nom l\u2019indique avait horreur du d\u00e9sordre et aimait que la typographie soit bien rang\u00e9e. \n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \"\"\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

MAX-\u00c9MILE BOX<\/h2>\n

(1894-1974) Typographe humaniste fran\u00e7ais du XXe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n

En bonhomme du XXe si\u00e8cle dont la culture humaniste d\u00e9rivait en droite ligne du si\u00e8cle des lumi\u00e8res et m\u00eame un peu avant, le grand Max-\u00c9mile avait tendance \u00e0 vouloir tout coller dans des cases, ce qu\u2019il fit. Son petit neveu, Nicolas H\u00e9quessel, continua son \u0153uvre et on en subit encore les d\u00e9gats. Son arri\u00e8re petit cousin par alliance, Pierre Gobart, nous bassine encore avec des gagarinismes de pr\u00e9cieux tubercule qui n\u2019ont d\u2019autres effets que de s\u2019autoconforter dans le r\u00f4le de l\u2019homme qui sait, nous vous conseillons d\u2019\u00e9viter de tels dinosaures.\nBox, quant \u00e0 lui, nous a l\u00e9gu\u00e9 une vision tr\u00e9s XXe si\u00e8cle de la typographie, circonscrite aux pays o\u00f9 l\u2019usage de l\u2019alphabet latin est r\u00e9pandu. Box eut-il \u00e9t\u00e9 chinois que la face du monde en eut \u00e9t\u00e9 chang\u00e9e. \nOn a \u00e9chapp\u00e9 belle!\nOn lui doit aussi, entre autres multiples choses l\u00e9gu\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019humanit\u00e9, le grand jamboree annuel de typographie en apn\u00e9e de Blur, petit patelin pop et d\u00e9licieusement typique de la province de Floo en Grand\u2019Bretagne.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
